SINOPSE S A L T U S, a solo for one dancer, intentionally addresses the physical, mental, and symbolic dimensions associated with the act of jumping, the jump as a conflict between the vertigo of rising and the need to descend. It is intended a transposition of the movement utility, which develops in a horizontal evolution and entropy, for verticality axes that are contagious in (re)volutions. A being alone, a single being in jump / saltus modus in all its power and impotence, possibility and impossibility, fragility and excess, simplicity and trance, normality and transgression. One jumps the jump, in the passages of a solitary act to an act capable of stirring and affecting the collective imagination, fall into fall, of a vertical unbalance.
